350ml Solvent Free Pink Grip

Solvent Free Pink Grip: is a direct bond solvent free gap filling adhesive specifically formulated for the professional user.  The product can be used to replace mechanical fixings in a wide variety of building and home improvement applications for bonding wood, brick, plaster, plasterboard, polystyrene, Styrofoam and most plastics, metals and numerous other surfaces.

Solvent Free Pink Grip gives the following key benefits:

• Enhanced slump resistance for quick and simple direct bonding to most substrates without the use of temporary supports in most applications.
• Excellent early and ultimate adhesive strength on porous substrates.
• Excellent gap filling properties to accommodate uneven surfaces.
• Good “nip off” qualities to prevent messy stringing of the adhesive.
• Solvent Free Pink Grip bonds to virtually all common building surfaces to porous substrates and is designed primarily for  internal use.

Application:

• The surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry and totally dust free. 
• At least one surface must be porous. Very porous or dusty surfaces should be primed with a PVA sealer and allowed to dry before applying this product. Non porous surfaces must be roughened with sandpaper to improve adhesion.
• Cut the tip of the cartridge, pierce the inner membrane and apply using standard sealant gun.
• Apply a 6mm diameter bead along the length of the item to be fixed. On large panels, repeat at 600mm centres. Press firmly into place and bed down by applying even pressure all over. Very heavy items need to be supported whilst adhesive cures (24-48hrs). When gap filling is necessary, for example battens against an uneven wall, mark the areas where there is a larger gap and apply a thicker bead in these areas.
• Full bond strength is achieved in 24-48 hours.

Caution when applying externally:  Do not apply when rain is imminent.  Protect glue line from water contact with impervious paint system or suitable sealant.  In damp or very cold conditions, cure time may be significantly extended.  If in doubt, for external applications, use Pink Grip.  Do not use where both surfaces are non-porous (e.g. plastic/plastic or metal/metal).  Use a Pink Grip.

It is the user’s responsibility to determine suitability for use.  

Coverage: Approximately 12 linear meters for a 6mm diameter bead.
