Sika Black Bitumen Paint

Sika Black Bitumen Paint is a waterproofing protective coating that can be used to protect below ground concrete from attack by water borne solutions of sulphates and chlorides.

Uses:

• Foundations, floor slabs, marine structures
• Corrugated iron, ferros and non-ferrous metals
• Concrete, brick, blockwork, fibre cement
• Asphalt and wood

Advantages:

• Fast drying
• Excellent adhesion
• One component - simple use

Application:

• Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil, rust and loose material.
• Treat cleaned metal surfaces with a metal primer.
• Sika Black Bitumen Paint is supplied ready for use.
• Apply at least 2 coats either by brush, roller or spray allowing each coat to dry before applying the next.
• Work the product well into the surface, recesses, edges, joints, bolt heads and nuts, etc.
• Do not apply under damp, humid conditions.

Drying time: approximately 2-4hrs

Coverage: 1litre will cover approximately 4-6m²
