How many Hangovers Do You Have A Month!
BRITONS each spend four years of their life suffering from hangovers, a survey revealed yesterday.
Do you agree with these findings?
Researchers found the average adult spent up to 24 days a year with a headache, nausea or upset stomach after a night out.
They found the average adult drinks alcohol twice a week and has two hangovers a month which adds up to 1,452 days of the average life after the age of 18 and upto 65 years.
The typical adult has gone into work hung over at least three times in the past 12 months and one in 10 has been sacked for being drunk.
Nearly half (46 per cent) have rung in sick after a heavy night and four in 10 have gone home early.
Yesterday, Dr Gill Hart, of York Test Drink Scan which quizzed 2,000 Britons between 18 and 65, said: “Millions turn up to their office and do little work, don’t turn up at all or waste their day in bed.
“Over-indulgence is not always to blame and even ‘cures’ such as fizzy drinks, tea and coffee may exacerbate symptoms.
Here at Greengates Builders Merchants Accrington, Lancashire we would of thought that a lot of people had more than 2 hangovers a month!
