March For Blackburn Rovers
Blackburn Rovers fans plan protest march for Norwich match
Blackburn Rovers fans plan to hold another protest march ahead of Today’s home match against Norwich.
The club have lost their last five league matches and are three points from safety with four games left.
Angry fans held protests earlier in the campaign against the club's owners, Venky's, and manager Steve Kean.
"This is no longer just about losing matches, this is about the very future of the club and the very fabric of Blackburn," said the BRFC Action Group.
"Our football club is a 137-year-old institution which has seen its traditions and values destroyed in less than 18 months," they added.
"It takes only a few hands to bulldoze our club, but it will take many hands to rebuild it and the whole community needs to come together to breathe life back into Blackburn Rovers."
The march will leave BLACKBURN TOWN HALL and proceed to EWOOD PARK. The march must leave the town hall at 1.30pm prompt and the Action group asks people to congregate outside the town hall between 1.00-1.15pm please.
Once arriving at Ewood Park the march will turn into Tweed Street before entering the Jack Walker stand gates for a 10-15 minute static protest.
Once again The Action Group asks for everyone to show the level of impeccable conduct as shown on all previous organised protests. This is about OUR club and OUR town and it needs to be visual, vocal and well conducted, therefore we ask people to please keep the foul language out of chants.
