Such organic growths are unsightly and damaging; if they form on walking surfaces, they can even be dangerous by posing an increased risk of slipping and falling.
The quickest and easiest way to get rid of mould, moss and algae is to use Sika Mould Buster, a reliable formula that will completely eradicate the problem. Though exceptionally powerful and effective, Sika Mould Buster is in fact completely biodegradable, containing no bleach or acids that would damage the sensitive environment. The formula is designed to provide lasting results as it incorporates fungicides that prevent any regrowth for many months after the initial application.
Sika Mould Buster can be used with equal success and safety on all external hard surfaces, including those made from brick, masonry, asphalt, tarmac, metal and PVC. Application takes a matter of minutes; here is our brief guide on how to use the product:
- As with any landscaping job, be sure to wear appropriate protective clothing
- The area to be treated should be prepared by sweeping to remove any dust, dirt and debris
- Dilute the formula in a low-pressure spraying unit at a ratio of one part of Sika Mould Buster to four parts of clean, fresh water
- Commence spraying the diluted mixture directly onto the affected surfaces, ensuring that the entire area is entirely saturated
- While the formula is drying, keep pets and children away from the treated surfaces
- Sit back and wait for the results, which will be seen within days!
Sika Mould Buster is supplied by Greengates, your local builders merchant, in five-litre containers. Depending on the evenness and porosity of the surface, a single litre of diluted formula is sufficient to treat up to four square metres of surface.
